Team Introduction TikTok Local Services (TikTok GO) is a one-stop commerce solution that connects global users with local services through the creative use of TikTok POI (Points of Interest), short videos, LIVE, and search. It delivers valuable real-life experiences and inspires users to explore the world around them.

It helps communities engage with restaurants, hotels, and attractions, equips businesses with new ways to connect with customers and drive transactions, and combines innovative marketing and operational tools to support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities: You will be placed across Governance-related domains (e.g., Content Governance, Merchant Governance, Experience, Service, Fraud) and contribute to impactful initiatives, focusing on:

  • Research online commerce regulations, product compliance, and industry best practices across global markets to inform strategy.
  • Draft, localise, and manage governance policy documents, ensuring alignment with market nuances.
  • Prepare guidance materials and training decks to communicate policy and strategy updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Devise processes and monitor metrics. Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify risk trends, irregular patterns, and root causes.
  • Apply investigational thinking to audit fraudulent cases and platform abuse scenarios (e.g., incentive manipulation, fake transactions).
  • Review real-world cases to identify grey areas, and refine policies and solutions.
  • Partner with Product, RD, and Data teams to build strategies, tools, and processes for effective risks detection and enforcement.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance efficiency, analyse model accuracy, and improve risks assessment.
  • Build dashboards to track risk levels, and the effectiveness of governance strategies.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

  • Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Policy or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable mindset capable of navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with AI/machine learning applications.
  • Prior experience in the Tech industry.
  • Familiarity with online commerce or governance techniques.
