Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, administer, automate, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions while supporting enterprise applications, digital transformation initiatives, and operational excellence. The role will collaborate closely with Infrastructure Engineers, Network Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cybersecurity teams, Enterprise Architects, Application Development teams, and business stakeholders to design, deploy, and support cloud-based platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Build and manage cloud networking components including VPCs, VNets, Subnets, Route Tables, VPN Gateways, Transit Gateways, Network Security Groups, Security Groups, Load Balancers, and DNS services.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize compute, storage, database, and container services in cloud environments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning and infrastructure deployment.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud infrastructure deployment into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Configure and support container platforms including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, and compliance controls.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, utilization, and costs while implementing optimization strategies.
  • Perform cloud migration activities from on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions across cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop cloud architecture documentation, operational procedures, technical standards, and deployment runbooks.
  • Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Capacity Management activities following ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with Network, Security, Database, and Application teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security standards, regulatory requirements, and operational policies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience designing and administering cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking, including VPC, VNet, VPN, Route Tables, Load Balancers, NAT Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or Cloud Interconnect.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Experience with container platforms including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience implementing IAM, security policies, monitoring, logging, and cloud governance.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations Suite, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments.
