The Forklift Driver / Shipper is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, and ship products. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and timely shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders or invoices Move materials to and from storage areas, staging areas, and loading docks Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled to prevent damage Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations Keep warehouse clean and organized Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Previous warehouse, shipping, or forklift experience preferred Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs or more) Basic math and recordkeeping skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Skills: Forklift operation (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, etc.) Time management and organization Teamwork and communication Problem-solving and reliability Work Environment: Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures Standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery for extended periods May require overtime, weekends, or shift work

Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.50–$20.50. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
