Sales Manager/ Engineer (Manufacturing)

Job Description The Sales Manager / Engineer will combine strategic business development with team leadership, focusing on driving sales growth, managing key customer and consultant relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will promote valves, actuators, and industrial instrumentation solutions for Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP). Candidates with an engineering background who are interested in building a career in technical sales are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership & Team Management: Lead and coach the sales team, set clear targets, allocate accounts/territories, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.

• Business Development & Sales: Drive sales strategies for valves, actuators, and instrumentation solutions, building strong network relationships across the Singapore water/wastewater sectors.

• Technical & Commercial Support: Review technical specs, drawings, and commercial proposals; deliver product presentations and coordinate product certifications/approvals.

• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for client enquiries, manage project communication, and represent the company at industry events.

• Reporting & Administration: Submit weekly/monthly reports on sales pipelines, order updates, competitor intelligence, and perform assigned ad-hoc business duties.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Marine Engineering

• At least 4 years of experience in technical sales involving valves, actuators, industrial instrumentation systems, or related products. Experience within the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) industries will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in reading CAD drawings.

• Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following will be an advantage: Industrial valves, Water and wastewater treatment systems, Ductile iron pipes and fittings, Mechanical piping systems, Process engineering equipment, Infrastructure projects, Tender specifications and contract documentation
