Big Data Support Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW : EDW/EBP Batch Monitoring POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Skillset

• Up to 4 years of IT experience
• Proven analytical abilities with solid experience in a Production Supportsetting.
• Strong SQL and Unix shell scripting
• Incident, problem, and service Outage management experience is Plus.
• Good Communication and Articulation Skills
• Familiarity with Teradata or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with any job scheduling tool. Roles/Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot Batch Issues & root causes to Mitigate Impacts to SLA
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes toanswer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide operational support and ensure SLI of Applications
• Proactively Identify and Identify opportunities for preventive Maintenance
• Respond on time to the queries raised by various business units
• Provide Timely updates (Status, Progress, Issues, Resolutions) to BusinessStakeholders
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercise
