Job Description · We are seeking an experienced Lead UX Designer to drive the design of intuitive, accessible, and user-centric digital products that serve citizens and businesses. · This role will lead the UX function, establish design standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital experiences aligned with product goals and accessibility requirements. Key Responsibilities · Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX/UI designers, ensuring high-quality design outcomes and continuous professional growth. · Establish, maintain, and evolve the organization's design system, component library, and UX standards to deliver consistent and scalable user experiences. · Design user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes across the product lifecycle. · Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and design validation to inform product decisions. · Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive digital experiences. · Apply design thinking methodologies to support product discovery, ideation, and roadmap planning. · Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and established design guidelines. · Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, design reviews, retrospectives, and product demonstrations. · Analyze user feedback, usability metrics, and product analytics to continuously improve user experience. · Maintain and enhance design documentation, design systems, and reusable design assets. · Advocate UX best practices and promote a user-first culture across cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications · Minimum 7+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, including at least 2 years in a leadership or lead designer role. · Experience delivering digital products within Agile or Scrum environments. · Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design, user research, and product thinking. · Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. · Technical Skills Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern prototyping tools. · Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and responsive design. · Experience conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and design validation. · Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices. · Working knowledge of HTML and CSS with an understanding of technical implementation constraints. · Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and scalable design frameworks. · Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools. Preferred Qualifications · Experience designing digital products for the Government or Public Sector. · Knowledge of product analytics, data visualization, and user behavior analysis. · Experience facilitating design workshops and product discovery sessions. · Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies and product development lifecycles. · Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
