1 Year Accounts Payable & GL Accountant | Bishan | Up to $4000 #NKA

Location: Bishan

Duration: 1 year contract

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9 - 6

Salary: Up to $4000

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 3-way matching of vendor invoices against PO and DO, and investigate discrepancies.

• Post vendor invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Prepare AP aging reports and reconcile AP subledger to GL and vendor SOAs.

• Perform intercompany AR/AP reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly payment runs including GIRO, TT, netting and cheque payments.

• Maintain vendor/customer accounts and support internal controls and AP policies.

• Prepare and post recurring/ad hoc journal entries, fixed asset depreciation and bank transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations, PO clearing and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and support physical asset verification.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts, liquidity and department expense reports.

• Support quarterly GST filing, stock adjustments, FX rate updates and group reporting.

• Support project job costing, including job creation/closure, timesheets, costing and monthly maintenance reports.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Proficient in MS Office

• Meticulous with attention to details, independent and adept at taking initiative and multitasking

• Capable of managing high levels of stress and meeting tight deadline

• Capable of collaborating effectively in a team environment and communicating clearly with others

• Knowledge of ACCPAC / SAGE300 is advantageous.
