Financial Controller
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership • Partner with the General Manager in developing and executing the Company’s financial strategy. • Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making. • Evaluate business opportunities, investments, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure proposals. • Support long-term business planning and sustainable growth initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process. • Monitor business performance through meaningful financial analysis and KPI reporting. • Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions. • Support resource allocation and workforce investment decisions.
Financial Reporting & Governance • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Maintain compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards. • Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management • Oversee cash flow planning and liquidity management. • Optimize working capital and strengthen financial discipline across the organization. • Maintain effective banking relationships.
Risk Management & Internal Controls • Develop and strengthen financial controls and governance practices. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Lead external and internal audit activities.
Tax & Compliance • Oversee corporate tax compliance and statutory filings. • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
Leadership & People Development • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team. • Build a collaborative, high-performing finance function. • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Finance Transformation • Drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives. • Improve reporting capabilities, systems, and business intelligence. • Champion continuous improvement across finance operations.
