Senior GIS Developer

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in GIS application development, with strong hands-on development and technical leadership experience.

• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot

• Develop GIS automation, data processing, geoprocessing, and integration solutions using Python.

• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Server.

• Develop web-based GIS applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar frameworks. modern frontend frameworks, RESTful API

• Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate GIS platforms with enterprise applications

• Manage and optimize spatial databases using PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, or SQL Server.

• Develop spatial queries, geoprocessing tools, scripts, and automation solutions.

• Establish best practices for GIS development, deployment, security, and version control.

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.

• CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.

• Git and source-control management.

• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices for GIS application deployment.

• Proven experience leading GIS development teams or acting as a technical lead.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
