Business Analyst

Job Descriptor ·      We are seeking a Business Analyst to support both delivery management activities and business process modelling initiatives. ·      The role will be split equally between Azure DevOps (ADO) management and reporting and BPMN process modelling using SAP Signavio. ·      The successful candidate will work closely with Delivery Managers, business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), process owners, and external vendors to ensure accurate delivery tracking, effective process analysis, and high-quality business documentation. Key Responsibilities ·      Delivery Support – 50% Manage and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) work items, ensuring entries comply with established standards and configurations. ·      Ensure ADO work item data is accurate and structured correctly to support reliable dashboards and reporting. ·      Create, maintain, and enhance ADO dashboards for delivery and project visibility. ·       Develop reusable ADO query templates for use across the wider team. ·      Generate delivery reports and provide analytical insights to support the Delivery Manager. ·      Provide ad hoc delivery coordination and reporting support as required. ·      Monitor data quality within ADO and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. ·      Business Process Modelling – 50% Engage with stakeholders, SMEs, process owners, and vendors to understand and document business processes. ·      Conduct workshops and discussions to identify process flows, exceptions, dependencies, handoffs, and decision points. ·      Translate business process requirements into clear and standards-compliant BPMN models. ·      Develop and maintain process models using SAP Signavio. ·      Validate process flows with process owners, ensuring accurate sequence logic, gateways, roles, responsibilities, and handoffs. ·      Support the GPO core team with business analysis, coordination, and deliverables across program milestones. ·       Identify process gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. ·      Prepare process documentation, analysis reports, presentations, and other supporting business materials. ·      Data Analysis & Reporting Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and analysis using Power Query, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel. Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues. ·      Analyse data and process information to support business decisions and project objectives. ·      Prepare clear and accurate reports for stakeholders and project leadership. Required Skills & Experience ·      Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), particularly: Work item management Queries Dashboards Reporting Strong understanding of BPMN modelling standards and business process documentation. ·      Hands-on experience with SAP Signavio or similar business process modelling tools. ·      Experience with Power Query, Power BI, and/or advanced Excel for data cleansing and reconciliation. ·      Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills. ·      Ability to structure complex problems, analyse information, and present clear conclusions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ·      Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, SMEs, vendors, and technical teams. ·      Comfortable coordinating with external vendors and partners, including SAP, Accenture, and other contractors. ·      Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications ·      Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. ·      Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or enterprise project delivery environments. ·      Experience supporting large-scale transformation or process improvement programs. ·      Exposure to SAP transformation initiatives or enterprise business process management. ·      Experience working with geographically distributed or global teams.
