ServiceNow Solution Architect

About the Role We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ServiceNow Custom Application Development (App Engine/Custom Apps) and possess relevant ServiceNow CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) certification(s). This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture standards.

• Lead solution architecture for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Architect and develop ServiceNow Custom Applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow development best practices.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, consultants, and project teams.

• Define integration architecture with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and APIs.

• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance, security, and performance standards.

• Review solution designs, technical documentation, and code to maintain quality and scalability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define implementation roadmaps and technical strategies.

• Support estimation, solution proposals, technical workshops, and client presentations.

• Stay updated with new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend improvements to existing implementations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture experience.

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Custom Applications (App Engine Studio/Creator Workflows).

• Experience designing enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.

• Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and APIs.

• Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, JDBC, and MID Server.

• Strong understanding of CMDB, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and platform architecture.

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Custom Applications/App Engine – Mandatory.

• Experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect on enterprise-scale implementations.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• One or more ServiceNow CIS Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Preferred

• Experience in consulting or large enterprise environments.

• Experience leading global or regional ServiceNow implementation programs.

• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC modules is an advantage.

• Strong solution architecture and technical leadership skills.

• Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience delivering complex ServiceNow implementations with a focus on scalability, governance, and business value.

Mandatory Requirements

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Mandatory.
