Backend Technician – MNC Semiconductor | Inspection & Test

Our client is a world-leading semiconductor company providing advanced testing and backend solutions to global electronics manufacturers. Position: Backend Technician (12-month Contract, Renewable) Location: Ang Mo Kio Working Hours: 12-hour shift pattern Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, conversion, and repair of semiconductor backend equipment.

• Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment reliability.

• Support equipment troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.

• Work closely with engineers and production teams to maintain equipment performance.

• Support backend semiconductor inspection/test processes and related equipment activities.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Support other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec or Diploma in any Engineering or Technical discipline.

• Experience in backend semiconductor inspection/test processes is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with VITROX Scanner, ICOS, or MicroVision equipment is an advantage.

• Experience in an electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Able to work independently and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.

• Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
