1 Year Contract Facilities Engineer (yearly contract renewable) Work location: Joo Koon Work hours: 5 days work week (Mondays to Fridays) Job Summary The Building and Facility Technician is responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building facilities and systems to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient working environment. The role supports preventive maintenance programs, responds to facility issues, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs of building structures, fixtures, and facilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary systems

• Carry out preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans

• Troubleshoot and respond to facility‑related issues and breakdowns

• Monitor facility equipment and report abnormal conditions

• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers

• Support fire safety systems checks and general safety inspections

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using maintenance systems

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards

• Support office layout changes, furniture installation, and equipment relocation as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Nitec in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building or facility maintenance

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures
