About Lumora Publishing House: Lumora Publishing House is a publishing division under ByteDance's gaming business, dedicated to the overseas publishing of titles with a strategic focus on Japan and the East Asia market. With a global footprint spanning Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo, our team brings together multinational talents possessing deep cross-cultural expertise and a truly global vision. Driven by a core passion for Japanese RPGs, we deeply cultivate and cover a diverse portfolio of genres, ranging from character collection RPGs and major IP-licensed projects to traditional JRPGs.
- Be responsible for the regional publishing for PC/console shooter projects across East Asia international markets (primarily Korea and Japan), overseeing the full project lifecycle; demonstrate strong data sensitivity with periodic consolidation and retrospective reviews, and drive overall strategy and coordination with regional publishing performance as the primary objective.
- Build and execute comprehensive go-to-market capabilities spanning strategy to on-the-ground tactics, including but not limited to channel partnerships, paid user acquisition, content marketing, community operations, and influencer/media collaborations; communicate effectively with internal and external partners to align cross-functional teams on publishing goals.
- Leverage established relationships and hands-on experience with channels, media, MCNs, and advertising agencies across key East Asia international markets to execute direct partnerships efficiently and deliver cost-effective regional publishing results.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of publishing experience in the gaming industry.
- Strong adaptability to coordination-driven roles, with the ability to flexibly manage cross-functional collaboration within the team and coordinate across multiple departments within the organization.
- High sense of responsibility and willingness to undertake cross-regional and cross-country travel as well as long-term on-site assignments, with potential locations including Mainland China, Korea, and Japan.
- Genuine passion for games.
- Working proficiency in Korean or Japanese, as the role requires direct engagement with local stakeholders and partners across the Korea and Japan markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Publishing experience for console/PC titles.
- Extensive gaming experience on console/PC platforms.
