Bitget currently leads in the tokenized TradFi market, providing the industry's lowest fees and highest liquidity across 150 regions worldwide.What you'll doAEOI Compliance & ClassificationClassify group entities and client/counterparty accounts under FATCA, CRS and CARF (entity type, GIIN registration status, Reporting Crypto-Asset Service Provider (RCASP) status, reportable/non-reportable determination)Build and maintain the group inventory of Financial Institutions and RCASPs, recording status per regime per jurisdictionDetermine CARF nexus for each entity — tax residence, incorporation, place of management, regular place of business — including the multi-jurisdiction hierarchy and the relief from duplicate reportingSupport Group Tax on the FATCA Expanded Affiliated Group determination, the Lead FI structure and the Sponsoring Entity assessmentApply and document the CARF and CRS 2.0 anti-duplication position per entity and per productReview and scrutinize FATCA, CRS and CARF documentation — self-certifications, W-Forms, withholding statements — for regulatory adequacyMaintain AEOI trackers and forms per entity/counterparty; monitor changes in circumstances triggering reclassificationValidate GIINs against IRS published data; flag unverifiable registrations for follow-upMaintain the consolidated group calendar of jurisdictions, reporting periods, deadlines, portals and schema versionsDue Diligence & ReportingPerform onboarding and periodic FATCA, CRS and CARF reviews on clients, counterparties and investors, aligned with AML/KYC cyclesAnalyze reportable accounts, persons and transactions and prepare notification lettersOwn the standard for self-certification cure periods and for the CARF transaction restriction applied where a user cannot be validly documentedPrepare XML reports in each jurisdiction's prescribed schema and reconcile the submitted population to the reportable population. Validation and sign-off to sit with a separate reviewer in Finance/Tax Operate annual e-filing across relevant jurisdictions, including nil returns where an entity is registered with nothing to report for the periodAssess prior-period reporting exposure for each entity and support any voluntary disclosure arisingSupport the Qualified Intermediary programme, including 1042-S reporting, withholding operations and the independent periodic reviewCoordinate reporting data requests to/from internal teams, clients and tax authoritiesRegulatory & Stakeholder ManagementMonitor legislative and regulatory developments across FATCA, CRS and CARF regimes in all operating jurisdictions; assess business impactAct as operational liaison with tax administrations and the IRS on AEOI matters, supporting each entity's designated Responsible Officer, Point of Contact and Public Officer — see Note 3Note that this role does not discharge per-entity local officer requirements, which remain entity-level appointments. The Cayman Islands, for example, requires a Cayman-resident Principal Point of Contact, with a transition deadline of 31 January 2027Coordinate with external auditors and support regulatory examinations/inquiries, and the independent periodic review of AEOI controlsProvide AEOI training to relevant business, operations and compliance teams, with jurisdiction-specific modules where local requirements differReport programme status periodically to senior management and, where required, to entity boardsPolicy & ProcessDraft, implement and maintain AEOI policies, procedures and controls, including local addenda per entity where domestic implementing law differs from the group standard; update in light of new regulatory or business developmentsReview legal agreements with counterparties for FATCA, CRS and CARF clause adequacyParticipate in UAT for systems supporting AEOI workflows, including onboarding self-certification capture and the transaction restriction controlMaintain record retention and cross-border data transfer positions for reportable tax data across jurisdictionsSupport remediation projects and periodic reviews on existing client/entity populationWhat you'll needBachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related fieldMinimum 5–8 years' relevant experience in FATCA, CRS and CARF, US tax operations, or AML/KYC complianceStrong working knowledge of FATCA, CRS and CRS 2.0 regulations, and of CARF; US tax knowledge (W-Forms, 1042 series, Qualified Intermediary) p
