Applications Developer

Applications Developer – Job Description Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop new features and enhance existing applications.

• Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.

• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party systems.

• Work with databases and write/optimise SQL queries.

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.

• Prepare technical documentation and support application releases.

• Collaborate with business users, QA, infrastructure, and other technical teams.

• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Follow SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and security best practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in application/software development.

• Strong programming experience in Java / .NET / Python / JavaScript or relevant technologies.

• Good knowledge of SQL, APIs, Git, and application integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure is an advantage.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
