As a part of the Google Cloud Universal Ledger (GCUL) GTM team, you will lead the early-stage rollout of blockchain built for financial services. Your aim is to modernize global financial systems by providing a compliant, 24/7, programmable network that replaces inefficient legacy rails to boost capital efficiency, unlock faster cross-border payments, and power agentic finance workflows.
As an executive-level, people-manager "playmaker," you will serve as the engine for GCUL adoption, identifying and supercharging opportunities within the Financial Services Industry. You will operate under a specialist-led sales model, your objective is to land initial transacting parties using three currencies to generate network density. You will translate your goal into "first-of-a-kind" agreements, leveraging "Market Makers" to pull financial ecosystems onto our platform. You will provide a "credibly neutral" infrastructure, help institutions streamline multi-currency transfers without the compliance issues of public chains, establishing GCUL as the global standard for financial interoperability. US: $176000 - $244000 (USD) + 100% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Manage communications for YouTube's Music and Artist Partnerships organization. Develop comms strategies, narratives, blog posts, pitches, FAQs, social plans, etc. Manage crisis comms. Brief spokespeople and staff interviews.
- Drive proactive storytelling that positions YouTube as the best place for every artist and music fan. Manage comms for YouTube music executives.
- Lead cultural moments that showcase YouTube’s relevance. Work closely with the YouTube music partnerships and marketing teams to devise communication strategies to deliver on business goals.
- Manage and cultivate partnerships with a broad swath of media, including music industry, consumer and business press, but also new media, creators, podcasters and more. Maintain relationships with label partners.
- Consult and partner across Google and YouTube to clearly articulate the AI offering for music partners.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in public relations or media relations within the music industry.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced music business environment.
- Experience managing music communications.
- Ability to create storytelling, proactive press outreach, and building relationships with journalists and stakeholders.
- Ability to plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously, and to influence stakeholders. Team-player who can divvy up difficult projects and work well with a number of cross-functional teammates.
- Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
