Job Description

Due to major company growth and project awarded, Mutiara (FE) Pte Ltd has an immediate opening for Senior Site Engineer. We are seeking well qualified , enthusiastic people to join us for continued growth of our business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review drawings, specifications and work interfaces raise RFIs and coordinator approved resolutions
  • Prepare short-team look-ahead plans covering sequence, manpower, materials, access, inspections and constraints
  • Coordinate supervisor, subcontractors and suppliers for daily workfront readiness and safe execution.
  • Verify setting-out, dimensions, levels, embedded items, M&E interfaces and closure inspections
  • Maintain drawing, RFI, inspection, material, testing, NCR, daily-report and as-built records
  • Measure progress accurately, identify delay risks and report problems with facts, proposed action and required decisions
  • Support safety, quality, testing, handover and defect-closure activities
  • Communicate promptly, share information, accept feedback and support the wider project team

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree/Diploma in Architectural, Civil, Structural, Building, Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline
  • Preferably 3-5 years of relevant main-contractor site experience; approximately 5-8 years for Senior Site Engineer
  • Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E drawings and manage assigned workfronts with limited supervision.
  • Practical knowledge of short-term planning, inspections, quality records, safety controls and subcontractor coordination
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; planning software and BIM-view familiarity are advantageous
  • Responsive, accountable, team-oriented, respectful and willing to raise mistakes or risk early
