Copilot/AI Solutions Architect
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Platform Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions, AI-powered copilots, and enterprise business applications using the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure AI technologies, with experience building enterprise-grade integrations and Generative AI solutions. The role requires a combination of low-code/no-code development, software engineering, API integration, and AI application development skills. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Microsoft Copilot Studio Development • Design, develop, extend, and maintain intelligent copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio. • Configure and optimize topics, entity extraction, actions, generative answers, and conversational flows. • Develop custom extensions using Power Automate, APIs, and custom connectors. • Integrate copilots with enterprise data sources including Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, and third-party platforms. • Implement governance, security, and monitoring best practices for enterprise copilots. Power Platform Engineering • Design and develop Power Automate Cloud and Desktop Flows for business process automation. • Develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps. • Design and implement Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, business rules, calculated columns, and security roles. • Apply Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using Azure DevOps and GitHub. • Manage solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, deployments, and release management. Enterprise Integrations & Connectors • Develop and maintain integrations using: o Microsoft Graph API o REST APIs o Azure Functions o Dataverse o SharePoint Online o Custom Connectors o Third-party platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems • Implement secure authentication using OAuth2, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and API security best practices. • Manage API throttling, monitoring, retry policies, and exception handling. Generative AI & Prompt Engineering • Design and optimize prompts, system instructions, and few-shot examples for LLM-powered copilots and agents. • Build AI-powered solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI services. • Apply prompt engineering techniques and responsible AI guardrails. • Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise knowledge sources. • Implement grounding strategies leveraging Dataverse, SharePoint, Graph API, and other enterprise repositories. Microsoft Graph API Implementations • Develop Graph-powered automations and copilots for: o Microsoft 365 Users & Groups o Outlook Mail & Calendar o OneDrive & SharePoint Files o Microsoft Teams & Channels • Build intelligent business workflows using Graph API integrations within Power Automate and Copilot Studio. ________________________________________ Required Skills Primary Skills • Strong hands-on experience with: o Microsoft Copilot Studio o Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop) o Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps) o Microsoft Dataverse • Experience integrating backend systems using: o Microsoft Graph API o Azure Functions o Custom Connectors o Dataverse o REST APIs o Third-party enterprise applications Secondary Skills • Experience building AI Agents and LLM-powered applications. • Hands-on experience with: o Azure AI Foundry o Project Hubs o Prompt Flows o Model Evaluations o Azure OpenAI • Strong experience with Python and/or TypeScript for: o Agent orchestration o Function calling o API integrations • Advanced understanding of: o Prompt Engineering o System Prompts o Few-shot Prompting o AI Safety Guardrails • Experience with Azure services such as: o Azure AI Search o Azure OpenAI o Azure Functions o Azure Storage o Azure Key Vault o Azure Event Grid o Azure Service Bus • Knowledge of: o RAG Architecture o Chunking Strategies o Embeddings o Hybrid Search o Semantic Search o Re-ranking Techniques • Experience with: o CI/CD Pipelines o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) o Observability & Monitoring o Cost Optimization for AI workloads ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Microsoft certifications such as: o PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate o PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect Expert o AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate o Microsoft Copilot Studio certifications • Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and AI solutions. ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate combines Power Platform expertise with modern Generative AI capabilities, demonstrating hands-on experience delivering enterprise copilots, intelligent automation solutions, Graph API integrations, and LLM-powered applications.
