VMware Migration Architect

We are seeking a VMware Infrastructure SME with experience in VMware-to-Cloud transformation programs. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, migration assessment, workload discovery, dependency mapping, data migration, and platform transformation to AWS, Hyper-V, or OLVM. Experience with VMware HCX, cloud migration tools, cutover planning, and post-migration validation is mandatory.

VMware/Esxi Competencies: ❖     Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN ❖     Configure and manage virtual networks, storage, and other virtualization components ❖     Monitor and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environment for performance and availability ❖     Create and maintain documentation for VMware vSphere environment ❖     Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans ❖     Specialized on VMware ESX, ESXI with vCenter Management ❖     Expertise in configure, build, implement and administrator ESXI servers including patches and updates, and assist in resolving associated system outages and other incidents. ❖     Excellent experience and knowledge with design installation and implementing VMware ESX server, VMware virtual center, setting up V-Motion, HA, DRS, and related VMware product as such as VM Workstation, VMware converter VM Backup product and other products for virtualization. ❖     Expertise on ESXI Architecture, guest OS installation, setting up of VM priorities, Cloning, and Snapshots. ❖     Expertise in DR plan and Disaster Recovery Exercises. ❖     Expertise in VM V-Motion, Storage V-Motion, Vcenter to Vcenter migration
