Commercial Solution Engineer (German Speaker)

We are looking for a Commercial Solution Engineer (German speaker) who can solve our customers' most complex problems. You will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on how to support their evaluation, and ultimately help them choose Snowflake.

In this role you will:

• Present Snowflake's technology and AI/ML vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers

• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake's AI Data Cloud, including Cortex AI, Snowflake Cortex Agents, and ML-powered features, throughout the full sales cycle

• Design and demonstrate agentic AI workflows and LLM-powered data applications built on Snowflake

• Help customers modernize from traditional analytics to AI-first architectures leveraging vector search, RAG pipelines, and real-time inference

• Create and develop technical champions who understand Snowflake's AI differentiation in the market

• Stay at the cutting edge of Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks and confidently present Snowflake's AI roadmap

• Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive AI/data landscape (Databricks, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex, AWS Bedrock, etc.) and how to position Snowflake

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's AI products and go-to-market messaging

• Represent Snowflake at industry events, including AI- and data-focused conferences

On day one we will expect you to have:

• Solution Engineering / Solution Architect experience in a SaaS environment, or relevant industry experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering

• Demonstrated familiarity with AI/ML concepts — including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and agentic AI patterns

• Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences

• Hands-on experience with SQL and comfort working with structured and unstructured data

• Understanding of modern data architecture, cloud platforms, and AI-native application design

• Customer-facing skills to communicate Snowflake's AI and data vision to a wide range of audiences

Preferred (but not required):

• Hands-on experience with Python and AI/ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI SDK)

• Experience building or evaluating LLM applications or AI agents

• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex (Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, ML Functions)

• Experience with modern data tooling: dbt, Spark, containers, orchestration tools, Git, DevOps

• Background in data science, ML Ops, or AI engineering
