Job Title: Sr Front End Engineer
Type of Employment: Full-Time Location: Remote - LATAM
Job Summary: 
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building the sleek, high-powered UIs that make the most powerful and usable product in the subscription space. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build industry-leading functionality, enabling our merchants to manage the features that drive their businesses forward easily. You will also be laying the groundwork for the future through our rich component library, test suites, and frontend scaffolding.
In a typical day, you might:

• Work on the UI for a new feature
• Create new reusable React components to aid your peers in building for the frontend
• Write tests in Jest and Playwright to ensure that we know how changes affect our platform
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
• Triage frontend issues to identify root causes and maintain our high-quality bar
• Integrate frontend features with internal APIs, collaborating with backend engineers to consume, evolve, and validate API contracts that power core product workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building robust, well-crafted UIs in React and Typescript, including proper state management and data fetching
• Experience defining API schemas and working with REST APIs to communicate with the server
• Strong understanding of React's APIs and the render lifecycle, as well as experience debugging the React render cycle and web performance issues
• Experience with configuring and maintaining frontend build tooling, like Webpack.
• Experience working with testing frameworks like Jest and Playwright, Storybook, and GitHub
• Hands-on experience integrating complex frontend applications with internal APIs, including collaborating across teams to design, consume, and iterate on API interfaces in a production environment
• Comfort leveraging AI-powered developer tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance day-to-day engineering workflows
• Knowledge of security and privacy best practices
• A deep passion for crafting delightful visual experiences
• Experience collaborating with design and helping shape design systems to empower consistent and pixel-perfect UIs.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, demonstrating adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to take initiative.

Nice to have:

• Experience within the CPG, eCommerce, and/or subscription management space
• Experience working with the Shopify platform and APIs
