Software Engineer Intern (FinTech & AI)

Responsibilities

1. System Development: Assist in the development, testing, and optimization of core financial modules, including payment systems, lending, wealth management, and account management.
2. High-Concurrency Training: Under the guidance of a senior mentor, learn and implement fundamental concepts of high-concurrency and high-availability system architecture.
3. Engineering Excellence: Complete code development, technical documentation, and basic maintenance to cultivate robust coding habits and engineering mindsets.
4. AI Innovation: Explore the intersection of AI and Finance. You will have opportunities to participate in pilot projects involving AI-assisted programming, intelligent risk control, and other cutting-edge technologies.
5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, rapidly absorbing business logic and delivering assigned tasks with high quality.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Junior/Senior) or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Technical Foundation: Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Java, Python, or Go) and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Frameworks & Tools: Basic knowledge of Spring Boot (or similar frameworks) and familiarity with MySQL and Linux operations.
• Core Attributes: * Passion for Learning: A strong sense of curiosity and self-drive to explore new technologies.
• AI Enthusiast: Deep interest in how AI and Machine Learning integrate with software development. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot), have taken AI-related courses, or have a curiosity about Agent and LLM application development.
• Soft Skills: Clear logical thinking, excellent communication, and a strong spirit of teamwork.
• Reliability: Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced internet industry environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Maintenance of a technical blog, contributions to Open Source projects, or notable course-related project experience.
• A strong interest in and basic understanding of FinTech business scenarios.
• Exposure to distributed systems and middleware like Redis.
