Job Description

Doximity is transforming the healthcare industry. Join our mission to help every physician be more productive and provide better care for their patients. As medicine’s largest network in the United States, we carry an elevated level of responsibility in everything we do. We don’t take that responsibility lightly and are committed to building diverse teams with an inclusive culture that can make a direct impact on the healthcare system.

One of Doximity’s core values is stretching ourselves. Even if you don’t check off all the boxes below, we encourage you to apply. Doximity is full of exceptional people who bring their own unique experiences to work every day, making us all better for it.

Doximity is seeking a thoughtful, relationship-driven Community Marketing Manager to build and scale two of our most strategic physician engagement pillars: Residents and Chief Residents, and VIP Physician Leaders (advisors, KOLs, and clinical innovators).

This role is critical to ensuring Doximity remains deeply connected to the physicians shaping the future of medicine. You will build trusted relationships that directly influence product development, physician adoption, and how Doximity shows up in the market—especially as we expand our AI-powered tools.

This is not a traditional “community manager” role. You will operate at the intersection of relationships, insight, and influence, translating real physician experience into meaningful action across Product, Marketing, and Leadership.

This hybrid role is based in the office at our headquarters in San Francisco, CA with in-office days being Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

How you’ll make an impact:

Build & Scale the Residency Leadership Community:
Design and launch a national community of Chief Residents and emerging physician leaders. Define the structure, value exchange, and engagement model. Recruit high-signal members across priority institutions and specialties, and build trust through listening sessions, roundtables, and early access programs. Establish repeatable systems for engagement and feedback.

Own Strategic Physician Relationships:
Manage a curated portfolio of high-impact physician leaders, including advisors and KOLs. Act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring physicians feel respected, heard, and meaningfully involved. Partner cross-functionally to activate these physicians across product feedback, content, events, and thought leadership opportunities.

Be the Voice of the Physician:
Identify patterns across conversations with residents and physician leaders, and translate them into clear, actionable insights. Partner closely with Product, Marketing, PR, and Leadership to ensure physician feedback directly informs decisions. Advocate for the physician perspective, especially in high-stakes product and messaging decisions.

Drive Cross-Functional Impact:
Collaborate with teams across Product (AI, Scribe, Dialer), Marketing, PR & Comms, and Legal to shape physician-facing experiences. Help ensure programs are compliant, scalable, and aligned with company priorities.

Build Scalable Systems & Programs:
Create repeatable programs for physician engagement, feedback collection, and activation. Maintain clean documentation of relationships, feedback, and commitments. Support and evolve Doximity’s broader advisor ecosystem, including Fellows, Advocates, and Next Gen physician programs .

Measure What Matters:
Define and track success through meaningful metrics such as community engagement, physician participation, and the impact of insights on product and business decisions. Share concise, actionable updates with leadership.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience working directly building and scaling communities from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfortable leveraging CRM platforms (e.g., Airtable, HubSpot) to build structured systems for managing physician relationships, organizing outreach, and ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to guide strategy, evaluate performance, and shape high-impact initiatives across multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust quickly and maintain credibility with senior clinicians.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize qualitative insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or physician-facing products.
  • Familiarity with academic medicine, residency programs, or physician leadership structures.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, or Executive teams.

Compensation

We offer a competitive base, bonus, and equity - a comp structure that rewards movement on engagement and growth.
