About Future

At Future, we believe that personal connection is the key to progress. Our mission is to make world-class coaching accessible to everyone, helping people unlock their full potential through expert guidance, motivation, and accountability. As a digital personal training platform, we deliver highly personalized coaching, tailoring workout plans and support to each individual’s goals - all through a seamless app experience.

Since launching in 2017, Future has grown from a brainstorm in a San Francisco cafe into the nation’s largest provider of personal training sessions. In January 2025, Future announced its merger with Autograph, the company founded by 7x World Champion and entrepreneur Tom Brady. We’re poised for massive growth as we expand our brand, forge new partnerships with some of the world’s most iconic athletes, and harness AI to enhance and scale our coaching experience.

As we continue to grow, we’re investing in cutting-edge technology, deepening our roster of elite coaches, and building new partnerships. If you're passionate about shaping the future of fitness, come join us - we’re just getting started.

THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to help build and scale the company’s financial infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of accounting and finance—you’ll ensure financial accuracy while also helping the business understand and act on the numbers.

This is not a narrow reporting role. You’ll have full visibility into how the business operates and how financial decisions get made, partnering closely with finance and operations. As an early member of a lean team, you’ll play a key role in shaping both our financial processes and our understanding of performance.

Over time, this role will expand further into FP&A and strategic finance as the company grows.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Oversee key accounting workflows including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Partner with finance and operations on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Analyze revenue drivers, cost structure, and unit economics to generate business insights
  • Support development of internal reporting to track key metrics and inform decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and support scalable growth

Systems, Controls & Infrastructure

  • Support audits and tax processes in partnership with external stakeholders
  • Help design and implement internal controls and scalable financial processes
  • Identify risks and proactively strengthen financial systems and workflows
  • Contribute to building a finance function that supports long-term growth, not just current operations

WHO YOU ARE

Experience & Background

  • 2–4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (public accounting, FP&A, or startup experience preferred)
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial statements (GAAP familiarity required)
  • Experience working with financial systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, with comfort analyzing and working with data
  • Interest in moving beyond accounting into broader financial analysis and business partnership

Working Style

  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership over your work
  • Structured and reliable—you consistently meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Curious and analytical—you seek to understand the drivers behind the numbers
  • Low ego, high accountability—you take pride in both execution and impact
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
