Job Description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

We’re looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organized Senior Employee Communications Specialist to support the development and execution of internal communications programs that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with Snowflake’s business priorities.

In this role, you’ll help shape and deliver an internal communications strategy that not only informs, but also strengthens company culture and connection across teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring employee communications are intentional, high-impact, and treated as a core part of how Snowflake operates, not an afterthought.

You’re someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas to the table, and looks around corners to anticipate communication needs before they arise. You’re equally comfortable thinking creatively about how to engage employees as you are executing with precision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You’ll partner closely with leaders and the broader Communications team to bring company narratives to life internally, ensuring employees are consistently considered in messaging, moments, and decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications Strategy & Execution - Support the development and execution of a cohesive internal communications strategy that keeps employees informed, aligned, and connected to Snowflake’s priorities and culture. Proactively identify communication opportunities and gaps, and help drive solutions.

  • Content Development & Editorial Support - Draft and edit a wide range of internal communications, including emails, newsletters, presentations, intranet content, and executive messaging. Bring creativity to how content is developed and delivered, ensuring it is engaging, clear, and aligned with the company voice.

  • All Hands & Company Moments - Help coordinate and execute Global Company All Hands and other key internal events, including content development, speaker preparation, and logistics. Elevate these moments as engaging, well-produced experiences for employees.

  • Program & Initiative Support - Partner with Communications, HR, and cross-functional teams to support major company programs and change initiatives - ensuring employee communications are integrated early and delivered effectively.

  • Cross-Functional & Communications Team Collaboration - Work closely with stakeholders across the business and the wider Communications team to align messaging and ensure employee communications are prioritized alongside external efforts. Advocate for employees as a key audience in all major communications.

  • Culture & Engagement - Support communications that strengthen Snowflake’s culture, foster connection, and create a sense of belonging across a global workforce.

  • Operations & Process Management - Develop and maintain templates, editorial calendars, and communication workflows to drive consistency, efficiency, and scale.

  • Measurement & Reporting - Track performance metrics and support reporting on internal communications effectiveness; identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, and impact.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field - ideally in a fast-paced or technology environment.

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.

  • Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset and a bias for action.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing multiple projects and deadlines across stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working across teams and levels.

  • Experience supporting communications for company programs, events, or organizational initiatives.

  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, Slack, Google Workspace, video tools)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting internal communications in a global or high-growth organization.

  • Exposure to change management or large-scale internal initiatives.

  • Experience with communications measurement and reporting.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
