About this role:
We are seeking a high-caliber leader to stand up a top-notch Finance PMO (Project Management Office). This is a high-visibility, high-impact role designed for a strategic operator who thrives in the "gray space." You will be the glue between Finance, Legal, Engineering and Product, ensuring our most critical corporate milestones are executed with precision.
As our head of Finance PMO you will manage:
M&A Project Management Office
Establish the ‘M&A Playbook’ for the company, covering everything from initial due diligence to post-merger integration.
Functional Due Diligence: Coordinate across Engineering, HR, Legal, and Finance to identify risks and synergies during the deal phase.
Integration Lead: Drive the 100-day integration plan for newly acquired entities, ensuring culture, systems, and financial reporting are unified seamlessly.
Strategic Planning Cycle Management
AOP Orchestration: Architect and lead the end-to-end Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, including the design of integrated planning timelines, standardized financial templates, and executive stage-gate reviews to ensure organizational alignment on fiscal goals.
Resource Capacity Validation: Drive strategic resource planning by performing gap analyses between proposed Product/Engineering roadmaps and current headcount constraints, ensuring the company has the necessary headcount to execute its highest-priority initiatives.
Special Projects
Act as the "special ops" lead for finance leadership on high-priority projects that don't have a natural home.
Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in our current financial operations and design scalable, automated solutions.
This career opportunity may be a good match for you if you have:
8-10+ year progressive work experience Management Consulting, Strategic Finance/Planning, or a PMO lead role within a high-growth AI or SaaS environment
Experience with M&A cycles preferred (from DD to integration)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective communication skills at all levels within the company and the ability to collaborate across functions.
Proven ability to deliver change, improve and streamline processes, drive efficiency, and influence stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, constantly involving environments. Startup/scaleup experience is a plus.
If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities.
