About the Role
We’re looking for an AWS tech lead to join our Platform Ops team and lead the architecture, governance, and operational foundations of our AWS environment, ensuring teams can build and operate securely, efficiently, and consistently at scale.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in async, fast-paced environments and is excited about building developer tools that scale to millions.
What You’ll Be Responsible for
In this role, you’ll:
Maintain and improve our AWS organizational architecture (Organizations, SCPs, SSO, IAM)
Define and maintain reusable infrastructure standards and patterns, improving operational excellence across teams
Implement preventive and detective controls across the AWS estate, working closely with our Security department
Create financial visibility and enforce resource ownership, working closely with out FinOps department
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
Have 4+ years of experience maintaining and implementing AWS architecture through Infrastructure as Code
Have 2+ years of technically leading a cloud foundations team focused on AWS, in a high-velocity startup (Tech Lead, Architect, Principal or similar title)
Are comfortable working with Pulumi (TypeScript), Terraform, Kubernetes
Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers and platform teams
Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
