About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer who will strengthen the team. You will report directly to the Head of PHP.


Our Technologies:

  • PHP 8.3 - 8.4, Golang
  • Codeception/PHPUnit, PHPStan, Rector, Code style checks + CI/CD in GitHub
  • MySQL 8.0, PostgreSQL 15
  • RabbitMQ, Redis
  • Graylog, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana
  • JIRA for task management
  • Kubernetes and Docker for local development


Your Role:

  • Optimize the performance of PHP 8.1+ applications and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and develop new internal/external integrations with providers and microservices.
  • Refactor and optimize existing monolithic code.
  • Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Develop and document APIs.
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in cross-reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with the QA and Product teams.


What We’re Looking For 

  • Ability to take responsibility for tasks and proactively address challenges.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Familiarity with popular frameworks such as: Laravel, Symfony, and Yii.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including the ability to build complex queries, work with aggregations, and optimize indexes. Understanding of transactions is also important.
  • Experience with REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture.
  • Experience with Redis/Memcache for caching strategies.
  • Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers to build scalable, asynchronous systems.
  • Understanding of shared resources, locks, idempotency, ACID principles, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker.
