Senior Technical Project Manager
Job Description
Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.
Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 1400 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.
About the hardware team
Our Hardware Infrastructure department is responsible for the full lifecycle of that infrastructure: from server design and supply chain, through data center deployment and bring-up, all the way to the tooling and automation that keeps everything running day-to-day. We're growing fast and building the systems that will underpin AI computing for years to come.
The Role
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who can operate credibly across every function in the Hardware Infrastructure department. This isn't a coordination-only role — you'll need genuine technical depth to engage with hardware engineers, software teams, and data center operations on equal footing, understand the tradeoffs they're navigating, and drive programs forward without needing things explained twice.
You'll move between functions as the work demands: one week you might be driving a GPU cluster deployment, the next you're working with engineers to scope out a monitoring platform or untangling a supply chain delay. You're the person who keeps the department's most critical initiatives organized, visible, and unblocked.
The Scope — Functions You'll touch
Hardware Engineering & NPI - Manage timelines for new hardware development cycles — coordinating between design, validation, and manufacturing partners. Track hardware bring-up milestones and help engineering teams stay on schedule through DVT/PVT and into production.
Infrastructure Automation - Drive delivery of internal tooling programs: functional and load testing systems for servers, DCIM and monitoring platforms covering power, cooling, racks, servers, JBODs, JBOGs, power shelves, and network devices — and the asset tracking and repair management systems that tie it all together.
Data Center Deployment - Coordinate rack deployment, cabling, power and cooling commissioning, and server production workflows across Nebius data center sites. Track dependencies between facilities, hardware, and software readiness.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management - Manage procurement timelines, maintain visibility into component lead times and ODM/OEM deliverables, and surface supply chain risks before they become capacity misses.
Hardware Operations - Drive visibility and process improvements in hardware break-fix and RMA workflows, spare parts management, and lifecycle tracking — from first deployment through decommission.
GPU & Network Infrastructure - Coordinate large-scale GPU cluster buildouts, including server integration, InfiniBand or Ethernet fabric deployment, and handoff to cloud operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs across multiple hardware infrastructure workstreams simultaneously.
- Work directly with hardware engineers, software developers, site operations teams, and supply chain managers — translating between technical and operational contexts as needed.
- Define and maintain program plans, risk registers, and dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into what's on track and what isn't.
- Run structured planning processes (roadmap reviews, sprint planning, milestone reviews) adapted to the rhythm of each team you work with.
- Identify blockers and gaps before they escalate — and drive resolution rather than just escalating.
- Build lightweight, durable processes that improve how the department plans, coordinates, and tracks work without adding unnecessary overhead.
- Represent hardware infrastructure programs in cross-departmental planning with software, networking, and cloud operations teams.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in technical program or project management, with a track record of delivering across multiple hardware, software or infrastructure domains.
- Real technical breadth: you understand server hardware architecture, data center power and cooling infrastructure, supply chain dynamics, and infrastructure software well enough to engage meaningfully with specialists in each area.
- Experience working simultaneously across functions — not just supporting one team, but coordinating interdependencies across several.
- Strong structured thinking: you build clear program plans, surface the right risks, and communicate status in a way that's useful rather than performative.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action — Nebius moves fast and the scope of this role will evolve.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Prior hands-on experience in hardware engineering, data center operations, or infrastructure software before moving into PM.
- Familiarity with monitoring stacks, CMDB/asset management systems (Netbox or similar), or DCIM platforms.
- Experience with GPU or HPC infrastructure deployments at scale.
- Background managing ODM/OEM or contract manufacturing relationships.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
- Opportunities for professional growth within Nebius.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment that values initiative and innovation.
