Business Development Manager – Financial Institution Partnerships (Accounts)
Job Description
Responsibilities 1. Virtual Account Channel Development & Optimization · Partner with banks and payment institutions to open cross-border account channels (e.g., named virtual accounts, multi-currency wallets) to support global payment collection, payout, and foreign exchange. · Expand local account coverage in strategic markets through partnerships with regulated financial institutions. · Design account product solutions including sub-account structures, automated FX conversion upon credit, and intelligent fund routing to meet complex cross-border treasury needs. · Lead API integration between partner account systems and the company’s platform to enable real-time balance inquiry, bulk payments, and automated reconciliation. · Collaborate with partners to launch value-added services such as FX locking, scheduled payouts, and cross-border payroll. 2. Market Intelligence & Partner Evaluation · Track regulatory updates, fee structures, and capability offerings of financial institution partners; propose optimized partner mixes based on commercial and compliance considerations. · Assist in building and refining a channel evaluation framework, benchmarking partners on key metrics such as settlement speed, cost efficiency, and infrastructure scalability. · Support due diligence efforts by organizing documentation for partner onbo
