We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Application Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and modern frontend applications across multiple product areas. You will work on distributed systems, cloud-native services, high-volume data processing, and web crawling operations while collaborating closely with QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in .NET / C#, Angular, Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern software engineering practices, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET / C#
Build and maintain modern frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS
Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and services in Azure
Manage containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-performance code
Develop unit tests and ensure strong test coverage across applications
Investigate and troubleshoot complex production issues across application, infrastructure, and network layers
Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering best practices
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of professional experience in software engineering or similar senior development roles
Strong hands-on experience with .NET / C#, Angular and SQL server.
Strong experience in Angular and frontend application development
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and SCSS
Strong experience working with Azure cloud services
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and scalable system design
Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, sessions, cookies, headers, authentication flows, proxies, and browser behavior
Strong understanding of website rendering, DOM structure, JavaScript execution, and page lifecycle
Strong networking knowledge including DNS, SSL/TLS, caching, load balancing, reverse proxies, and traffic flow
Good to Have
Exposure to performance monitoring, logging, tracing, and production diagnostics in distributed environments (Newrelic)
