Our client is a prominent global banking institution with an extensive international presence across major financial hubs. They are currently expanding their regional operations team to support large-scale digital transformation and core banking system enhancements across the Asia-Pacific region.

This is a permanent opportunity for a lending and credit professional to drive the implementation of a new core banking platform from a business and user perspective.

  • Act as a subject matter expert to lead lending-related technology projects and system designs.
  • Coordinate between business users and technical vendors to manage project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Analyze business workflows to identify gaps and establish standardized operational procedures.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide specialized training to regional stakeholders.
  • Evaluate system performance and prepare strategic reports for senior management and regional headquarters.

skills and experience required.

  • At least 7 years of experience within a bank's back-office lending or credit administration domain, no prior IT background is required
  • Proven track record in implementing large-scale banking packages or loan management systems.
  • Practical experience in drafting comprehensive business and functional requirement documentation.
  • Strong background in data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.
  • Degree in a technical or scientific field with a willingness to travel within the APAC region.
