Lead and refine anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing strategies to ensure full alignment with local regulatory expectations.
Regularly review and update compliance manuals and internal policies to reflect the latest industry developments and statutory changes.
Conduct thorough independent assessments and file sampling to verify adherence to established operational procedures.
Provide expert guidance to internal business units regarding inquiries from external partners and regulatory bodies.
Oversee the timely submission of necessary notifications and regulatory documentation for licensed representatives.
Skills and experience required
At least 5 years of relevant regulatory compliance experience within the Singapore financial industry, ideally in asset management or wealth advisory.
Strong familiarity with the Financial Advisers Act and its associated guidelines, notices, and circulars.
Demonstrated proficiency in identifying risks associated with sophisticated financial products and private wealth clientele.
Relevant academic qualifications in finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA are highly preferred for this position.
