Job Summary
Seeking a Junior data/analytics professional responsible for analyzing banking data using SQL and Python, supporting data architecture and reporting, and collaborating with users to gather requirements and resolve issues.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have strong knowledge of SQL and Python;
- Must have Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently with users for requirements gathering and issue investigation;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Basic understanding of banking products.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data warehouse and big data technologies;
- Familiarity with Hadoop and discovery/BI tools such as Qlik Sense and Hue, plus exposure to AI tools;
Responsibilities
- Gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications on data related initiatives;
- Perform data investigation and data analysis to support Bank wide users' queries;
- Perform data profiling and gap analysis, source to target mappings, data issue capturing, resolution and escalation;
- Provide end-to-end project delivery support, including requirements walkthrough, user acceptance testing;
- Execute data analysis and data investigation;
- Conduct end-to-end User Acceptance Test (UAT) process;
- Manage business glossary and dashboards for review and analytical purposes;
- Assist the entire project implementations.
