Job Description

TEKsystems is hiring a Business Analyst to support ongoing technology and process improvement initiatives across core insurance functions.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders to enhance workflows and support system-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with underwriting, claims, and policy administration teams to gather and analyse business requirements
  • Translate requirements into business and functional specifications (e.g. BRDs, user stories, FSDs)
  • Support system enhancements and changes across core insurance platforms
  • Work with technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure accurate implementation
  •  Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and efficiency
  • Support initiatives relating to data, reporting, or portfolio insights where required

Requirements

  • 3 – 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry or relevant experience.
  • Strong exposure to commercial / corporate insurance (P&C) such as property, engineering/construction & marine.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders across underwriting, claims and policy administration.
  • Experience supporting system implementation, enhancement, or modernisation initiatives
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across both business and technical teams
