Accounts Cum Admin Assistant (AP/AR) - Up to $3000
Job Description
- Position: Accounts Cum Admin Assistant
- Location: Near Tai Seng MRT
- Working hours: Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Salary (commensurate experience) Up to $3,000 + Variable Bonus + 12 Days Annual Leave
- Duration: Permanent
- Industry: Textile / Fabric Distribution
Responsibilities:
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions
- Prepare and send monthly statements of accounts to customers
- Follow up and resolve statement of account discrepancies when required
- Review and process sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders
- Maintain proper filing and documentation records
- Monitor ageing reports and sales/purchase reports
- Assist in journal entries, audit schedules, month-end and year-end closing activities
- Liaise with internal and external parties on accounting and administrative matters
- Handle general administrative and office support duties
- Support ad-hoc finance and office administration tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or administrative experience preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Able to learn and adapt to new software applications
- Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently
- Good communication and coordination skills
