Project Engineer *No Experience required (AMK)

Key Responsibilities

Turnkey Project Support

• Assist Project Managers in coordinating end‑to‑end IT implementation projects
• Support project planning, scheduling, and tracking of milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, vendors, and client representatives
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as reports, meeting minutes, and submissions
• Support testing, deployment, and system handover activities

Maintenance & Support Coordination

• Support ongoing system maintenance contracts after system go-live
• Track maintenance activities, service requests, and SLA deliverables
• Coordinate between support teams, vendors, and client representatives
• Assist in preparing regular maintenance and service performance reports
• Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure service continuity

General Duties

• Attend project meetings and occasional on‑site sessions at client locations
• Adhere to documentation standards, and compliance requirements
• Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner
• Learn and apply basic project management best practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• No prior experience required;
• Strong willingness to learn project management and IT delivery processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, responsible, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable handling documentation and structured workflows
• Able to work independently with guidance and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Internship or academic project experience in IT or systems delivery
• Basic understanding of IT systems, SDLC, or infrastructure/applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or basic tracking tools

5 day week @ AMK area (site visit whenever required)
