HR & Employee Engagement Executive (Banking)

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records management, training coordination, and HR administration to ensure smooth workforce processes
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, staff events, team bonding sessions, and corporate culture initiatives to boost employee participation and workplace morale
  • Develop and manage internal communications materials such as staff announcements, newsletters, event write-ups, reports, and publicity content to maintain clear and consistent messaging
  • Provide administrative and secretariat support by coordinating meetings, taking minutes, preparing documents, and managing internal correspondence for effective communication flow
  • Assist in creating presentation materials, publicity content, and corporate communication collateral to support organizational messaging and events
  • Organize and coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, staff welfare programs, and external engagement events to foster community involvement and employee well-being
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Head Office to address HR and communication-related matters, ensuring alignment and responsiveness
  • Support ad-hoc HR, administration, and corporate communication projects assigned by Management to meet evolving organizational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR, employee engagement, office administration, corporate communications, or related functions
  • Prior experience within banking or financial institutions is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with design tools, content creation software, or AI productivity tools is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, capable of independently drafting reports, minutes, announcements, and internal communications
  • Strong coordination, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to handle confidential information professionally
