Trade Finance Relationship Manager (Assistant RM / Junior RM Level)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and financial institutions to grow trade finance business
• Support origination of new trade finance transactions and marketing initiatives as directed by the department
• Prepare and submit credit applications, including credit analysis, risk assessment, and supporting documentation for approval
• Manage renewal and review of existing credit facilities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of credit proposals
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with internal credit policies, KYC and AML requirements
• Act as key liaison between clients and internal teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal) to facilitate transaction execution
• Review and process daily trade finance transactions in accordance with bank policies and approval frameworks
• Prepare regular reports for management and Head Office, including portfolio updates and ad-hoc analysis
• Participate in departmental initiatives, system enhancements and project-related work as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in trade finance, corporate banking, or related banking operations / credit roles
• Strong understanding of trade finance products and documentation processes (LC, SBLC, collections, guarantees, etc.)
• Familiar with international trade rules (UCP 600, ISP98, URC, etc.)
• Good credit awareness with ability to perform basic financial and risk analysis
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese clients and Head Office)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong team player with good stakeholder management skills
