Job Summary

This role oversees daily operations, safety compliance, and operational standards across Sinopec’s petrol station network, ensuring smooth operations, regulatory adherence, and high service quality.

Responsibilities

Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all petrol stations comply with regulatory requirements and maintain necessary licenses
• Lead HSSE initiatives, conduct safety audits, and implement incident prevention programs
• Maintain stations in inspection-ready condition at all times

Operations Management

• Oversee daily station operations, managing traffic flow and forecourt activities to ensure efficiency
• Conduct site inspections, evaluate performance, and develop actionable improvement plans
• Assess operational feasibility of new initiatives and promotional campaigns

Manpower & Team Management

• Plan and optimize manpower deployment across stations to meet operational demands
• Manage staff scheduling aligned with operational needs and cost targets
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management of frontline staff

SOP & Training

• Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures for operations and safety
• Develop and deliver training programs to improve staff competencies
• Address customer complaints and implement service improvement measures

Asset & Facility Management

• Oversee maintenance of station equipment and facilities to ensure operational reliability
• Manage vendors and contractors to minimize downtime and service disruptions
• Ensure operational readiness and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in petrol station operations or similar retail operations environment
• Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and operational processes
• Valid Class 3/3A driving license for travel between sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in English for effective communication

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to facilitate stakeholder engagement
