Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager

• Proactively identify and engage project owners, consultants and contractors at different stages of the project lifecycle
• Secure and conduct effective meetings with the right decision makers to influence specifications and project outcomes
• Drive direct sales activities from opportunity generation and presentations to negotiation and closing
• Prepare and personally present product and solution proposals to clients and project stakeholders
• Execute sales driven marketing activities to support lead generation and project visibility
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new projects and opportunities
• Maintain disciplined follow up to progress opportunities and secure orders and payments
• Provide product and application knowledge to support technical and commercial discussions
• Represent the company professionally during meetings, presentations, exhibitions and industry events
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences and industry networking events to build relevant contacts
• Gather market intelligence and competitor insights from project feedback
• Submit regular activity and pipeline reports
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in sales, business development or project-based roles
• Comfortable engaging with project owners, consultants and contractors.
• Background in construction, building materials, plumbing or MEP would be helpful
• Exposure to the maritime or offshore sector is a bonus but not required
• Knowledge of water filtration systems would be an advantage but is not essential
• Able to prepare and deliver clear presentations to clients and project stakeholders
• Confident in explaining products and solutions during meetings and presentations
• Comfortable using digital systems and basic CRM or ERP tools, or willing to learn
• Able to work independently, organised and consistent with follow up
• Team player mindset, able to work independently and get involved in the execution of principle sales strategies
