Career Consultant (Polaris Programme) – WSG CCP Certified

AKG Singapore is expanding and we arelooking for passionate Career Coaches to deliver the Polaris Career GuidanceProgramme — a Workforce Singapore (WSG) supported initiative that helpsindividuals assess their career health, gain clarity, and take purposeful nextsteps in their careers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support clients through personalised career guidance — assess career health, clarify goals, strengths and values.

• Facilitate career exploration,goal‑setting and development planning.

• Coach clients on résumé writing,LinkedIn, networking, upskilling and job search strategies.

• Co‑create actionable Career DevelopmentPlans and conduct regular follow‑ups.

• Deliver Polaris sessions, careerworkshops and outreach activities.

• Use structured tools and assessments tosupport client clarity.

• Maintain accurate records and upholdcoaching ethics and standards.

• Stay updated on labour market trends,growth sectors, and WSG/SSG programmes.

• Partner with internal teams for referralsand employer insights.

• Build client confidence, resilience andproactive career planning behaviours.

WHO YOU ARE

• Possess a valid WSG CCP credential.

• Minimum Diploma with strong interpersonaland communication skills.

• Experience in customer‑facing, advisoryor coaching roles is an advantage.

• Skilled in listening, rapport‑buildingand guiding meaningful conversations.

• Organised, IT‑savvy and able to managemultiple clients and timelines.

• Motivated by supporting others andcomfortable working towards KPIs.
