Financial Analyst (Production Costs)

Our client is a leading manufacturing company in precision engineering industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Cost Analyst to be part of their FP&A Team. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Duties of Cost Analyst:

• Perform detailed product cost analysis, including materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate cost structures and allocations.
• Conduct regular variance analysis and provide insights on cost drivers, trends, and profitability impact.
• Develop and maintain standardized costing methodologies and models across sites.
• Partner with Production, Procurement, Sales, and FP&A teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement within the costing framework.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support audit requirements.
• Provide cost data and analysis for management reports, special projects, and business decisions.
• Contribute product cost inputs to budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting field
• Min 3 years of costing analysis experience in manufacturing industry
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
