Automation Engineer - (East / 5.5 days) [SAS]

Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation control systems and electrical designs to enhance industrial operations. Works closely on projects, provides technical support, and ensures smooth system performance and effective knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs to improve automation system performance
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug control systems to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software
• Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams
• Support and lead automation projects, including preparation of technical documents (FDS, schedules, user manuals)
• Participate in site surveys and project kick-off meetings to align technical requirements
• Work independently to meet project timelines and deliverables
• Maintain good communication and build strong client relationships
