Quality & R&D Controller (Marine equipment) [EL]

The Quality Controller reports to the Director and ensures that all materials, components, and finished marine equipment meet ISO standards and internal quality procedures. Responsibilities include inspections, testing, certifications, and supporting R&D activities to maintain product safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Conduct inspections for incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.

• Perform sampling, testing, retesting, and certification of marine equipment and lifting gear.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring and testing instruments.
• Issue test certificates for approved products.
• Liaise with third-party surveyors for product testing and compliance.
• Monitor maintenance programs for machines and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Review work procedures and method statements to align with best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during inspections.
• Supervise QC/TS staff and coordinate testing activities.
• Support R&D and product enhancement initiatives.
