IT Support Engineer (3pm to 11pm)

Shift role, Mon to Friday, 3pm to 11pm
Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Brief Summary:

Responsibilities:
Serve as the initial point of contact for internal business users regarding issues with computers, printers, and various IT systems.
Provide Level 1 to Level 2 support for network and internal systems.
Assist senior team members in testing new functions, implementation, and training, while also providing hyper-care support.
Liaise with the central IT team to ensure adherence to security and compliance measures.
Facilitate the purchasing, installation, and configuration of IT assets while maintaining accurate asset and license information.
Conduct regular internal IT audits to ensure compliance with defined IT policies and procedures, reporting non-compliance issues to senior staff.
Maintain a knowledge base and frequently asked questions (FAQ) resource, assisting in troubleshooting.
Collaborate with senior engineers to propose improvements for recurring issues.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
Familiarity with SAP, Oracle Application Server, and MySQL is preferred.
Capable of working independently and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates proactivity and strong teamwork abilities, coupled with a positive work attitude.
Prior experience in manufacturing, shop floor control systems, or network and server support is advantageous.
