Data Analyst (Research) - 6months contract

This 6-month direct contract role supports biomedical research by extracting insights from complex datasets. You will collaborate with principal investigators and senior research staff to enable data-driven decision-making in healthcare research.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large structured and unstructured datasets to uncover meaningful insights
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to generate actionable recommendations for research teams
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to support biomedical studies
• Build algorithms to enhance forecasting accuracy and inform decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate data findings into practical research applications
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of all data outputs to maintain high-quality research standards
• Communicate complex technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decisions

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in data science, analytics, or working with large datasets
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop predictive models
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills applied to data-driven research
• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences
• Bachelor/Master degree in data science/data analytics.
