Product Configuration Engineer (JD#11064)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Configuration Engineer to support customer specification management and translate requirements into manufacturable product configurations within SAP. The role works closely with Sales, Applications, Product Strategy, Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate product definition and smooth production execution in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline;
• Must have 2–5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or product configuration;
• Ability to analyse and interpret customer specifications;
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments (semiconductor / electronics / high-tech preferred);
• Working knowledge of SAP (work planning / manufacturing modules preferred);
• Strong documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Semiconductor or precision manufacturing experience preferred;
• Understanding of quality control, inspection plans, or test methods;
• Exposure to product lifecycle or engineering change processes;
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer specifications with Sales, Applications, and Product Strategy teams;
• Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications and SAP work plans;
• Ensure product parameters (marking, labeling, certificates, etc.) are properly defined;
• Clarify specification gaps with customers via Applications team;
• Create and maintain product specifications and revisions in SAP;
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to ensure manufacturability;
• Support Product Strategy Team (PST) discussions and technical reviews;
• Participate in improvement initiatives for product configuration processes and systems;
• Support product cut-over and implementation of new or revised specifications;
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
