Security Researcher

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with internal security specialists to identify and assess emerging cyber risks across software systems.
• Perform security testing, including fuzzing, reverse engineering, and source/binary code review to uncover weaknesses and exploitable flaws.
• Build proof-of-concept exploits to validate discovered vulnerabilities and assess potential impact.
• Analyse root causes of security issues and recommend remediation strategies to improve software robustness.
• Conduct technical investigations into newly identified attack vectors and contribute to defensive research initiatives.
• Support the development of tools, scripts, or automation that improve vulnerability research and security analysis workflows.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Around 3–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity research, offensive security, vulnerability assessment, or software security engineering.
• Strong technical curiosity with a research-driven mindset and passion for uncovering complex security issues.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience in reverse engineering and binary analysis.
• Strong understanding of common software vulnerability classes (memory corruption, privilege escalation, logic flaws, etc.).
• Experience in vulnerability discovery / exploit development.
• Proficiency in C and Python programming.
• Familiarity with ARM / AArch64 assembly or low-level system architecture is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to debugging, static/dynamic analysis, and security tooling is a plus.
